The Bojan Thread

Bojan Krkić, formerly of Barca, Roma, Milan and Ajax, has somehow found his way to the Britannia Stadium. Tipped to become the next big after coming through the world renowned Barcalona academy, the 23 year-old Catalan lost his way after some poor moves. He failed to impress at Ajax last year. But now under Mark Hughes, he has been given a chance to rebuild his career.

Bojan has looked good in preseason, and has become somewhat a forum favourite, a bandwagon before the season started. At 5.5m he represents top value to those going 3-5-2 as a good, cheap backup. In a good Stoke side trying to reinvent themselves as a football team rather than a rugby team, he could thrive. He is also not under pressure from many world class players for the striker spot. Jerome, Diouf and Walters probably won't be near the top of the goal scoring charts. Crouch is off to the Big Sam chain gang.

Ridiculous idea for a thread, there's plenty more players more worthy and even then I'd hate to see ones for each. Bojan was utterly hopeless in every game last year in a much worse league for a poor-enough Ajax team that would be a mid-table EPL team. Stoke is a step up for him.

Didn't waste my time, gives me another place to bash Bojan! I'm more afraid of there being more and more threads set up for individual players. This guy hasn't even played a minute in the EPL yet and he has one! But since it's here, I'll throw in my comments. I do not rate him as a player and he will not be in my team.
