Sky multiscreen?

How is it installed? we have an HD+ box in the living room....dish is on the wall out back, is the cable for multiscreen run from the dish or from the HD box? does it need phone line connection or will the existing on demand connector do.....and I'm assuming the "free" multiscreen box doesn't have record functions?
