The tipster has also listed some of the purported specifications of the alleged Nexus 8 tablet, which seem to be quite high-end. The list includes a 64-bit Tegra processor; a MDM9x25 modem (3G model); 4GB of RAM; an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash; a 1.6-megapixel front camera, as well as GPS and NFC connectivity.

Looks like it'll be a bit of a monster, spec wise at least.

Yeah these rumours have been doing the rounds for some months now.some specs alright,hopefully they are all true.I had my finger on the trigger to buy the Samsung galaxy tab s and it took a lot of willpower for me to hold back for the nexus 8. I just hope the launch is not as farcical as the nexus 10 launch a couple of years ago,having said that we can now buy devices direct from the google store here in Ireland now.the fact that this will launch with android L swung it for me to wait.roll on the autumn!

Nvidia K1 64 Bit Processor for Android

If Nexus 8 has the above chip, it makes that more desirable than the Nvidia Shield Tablet

Although I like the fact the shield has a Micro SDcard.

so im lost. are we talking about an 8 inch or a 10 inch tablet? or both? as bertie would say "its all a bit smoke and daggers".

Its really all guesswork ATM. By all accounts on different websites,the speculation seems to be leaning towards an 8.9 tablet.
