As much as I don't like to promote a Nama (it still is in Nama isn't it ?) course at the expense of another.....
You're getting serious value in Tulfarris.
Steak dinner, bed, full Irish, round of golf for €59

Can't see anyone beating that I'm afraid.

That is some offer alright. Won't beat it. We did that last year. Very good course too and the food in the hotel was top notch. I could take two or three of you on the sitting room floor in my house and a round of golf in Gowran for the same money.

Gang of us go to Dungarvan every year, golf at the three courses, 2 nights b&b and one dinner €175, good town for food and nightlife too.

If it's a one night trip then The Heritage in Portlaoise is a good option, Spa on site for those that don't want to golf, they have promotions all the time so might be open to a bit of haggling.

They hollow thin their greens in Sept, played them a week after being done last year and they were just brutal, check when they're doing them before thinking of booking OP

Group of 25 of us went down from Wicklow two years ago and had that deal. They really looked after us. The only complaint I had was this; we were told we could get served beer for a good while after hours, and as guests you expect this. Seeing as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere you want to get a few beers till 2 or 3 am. Anyway that night around 1am the night porter called time on us. We weren't drunk, we weren't loud we were just pi**ed off. Anyway it was a good days golf and a good night regardless apart from that lad. I'd still go back again. Only this time is have a word with managment first to make sure you can get a few late drinks.

I was going to suggest that too.
That would have been my first preference, you'd get great rates with Macreddin but I think Brook Lodge can be hit or miss with deals. It's quite expensive normally. Lovely hotel and course and well worth trying to get a deal.
