Amazon.com voucher

    So I was given one of these as a present mainly with the idea of buying kindle books with it as I'm a big reader. However I since discovered that I can't buy kindle books on amazon.com. The only way I can see around this is changing my amazon account postal address to a US one while I use the voucher then change back after. Has anyone done this/is this a possible way round the problem?

    I done this before. It will be OK. You can place an order with a US address. Once the order was made, you can ask the vendor to change your shipping address. But, please reserve the email information as a proof. Another thing, you should learn about whether your local custom accept the import of kindle books ?

    Hi Bagheera, I don't know if you've used the voucher yet or not. If you haven't I'd be willing to buy it off you, or trade it for an amazon.co.uk one, depending on how much it's for. I have an American account and I buy quite a lot of Kindle books so might be a way around it for you.

    Kindle books are electronically delivered, Customs don't come in to the equation.
