    Hi folks,

Just got a share certificate from work from a pension vestment.

Could somebody please walk me slowly through in how to sell the certificate, please?

    Thanks.

Simply contact a local Stockbroker (in Dublin I'd recommend Campbell O'Connor behind Central Bank). You will probably need to bring along proof of identity, proof of address etc. Telephone them to find out more.

Once you give an order to sell, the broker will sell for you, charge a small commission and you could have your cheque within 10 days or less.

All of this assumes that there is a demand for shares in the particular company. Some shares do not sell well or quickly.
