Skoda boot

    2010 skoda superb ambition
    Electric boot not locking
    Staying closed
    When i close boot i can hear it pulling door down into locked position and then i hear a slight clunk and the boot pops back up about 10mm and stays there in a closed position
    Seems like somethings grabbing its and then its slips of

    Did you get a hit in the rear that might have distored the panel the lock receiver is on ?

    If not it might be the locking mechanism

    No didnt get hit in rear
    So must be locking mechanism
    Ive a feeling the problem is with the mechanism that connects the window and the boot lid
