Cheque clearance

I lodged a cheque from an AIB account holder into my PTSB account last Friday morning. When should I expect it to be cleared? I thought it would have been cleared but not so!

Usually 5-7 working days for a cheque to clear. Given that last Monday was a bank holiday, you are probably looking at next Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest.
