GK: I'd pencil Chelsea in for most clean sheets but would be worried that Cech and Courtois will be rotated slightly. I'll say Courtois/Cech on the proviso that one or the other plays at least 34 league games.

DEF: I've gone with Terry in my team from the beginning, but like above I would be worried that their defence will be rotated slightly over the course of the season with them having so many games and Ivanovic able to slot in at CB. If he plays the 34 games he played last season I will say Terry, but due to question marks I'll go for Baines. Despite a horrendous start meaning he has not been considered for the vast majority of teams, Baines is essentially a midfielder with the added bonus of being able to receive points for clean sheets in FPL terms. He should be good for about 5 goals and 6-8 assists this season and that may put him top, although I would expect Everton's clean sheet figure to drop to around 10 this year.

MID: A very tough one to call with so many good options in midfield this year. It might be a big ask in his first season, but I'll go for Alexis Sanchez here. He may get some opportunities to play as the main striker throughout the season, he has a superb conversion rate meaning he doesn't need a lot of chances to register goals, and he plays for a top side who like to attack with a fantastic supporting cast in the attacking third. Hazard will be there or thereabouts as usual.

FW: I'll go for Rooney here, purely because I think he has a better chance of staying fit than Robin Van Persie and Manchester United should score far more goals this year. I'd be all over Aguero for this prediction and think he would/will run away with it if he can stay fit, but you'd be a brave man to put any significant amount of money on him playing 25 or more league games. If he plays near to 30 he likely wins this easily enough however.

Most Assists: Ozil or Mata here. Both are assist machines. There was a statistic floating around this time last summer stating from 2010-2013, Ozil had 86 assists and Mata 66. To put that into context, Messi had 80 over the same period. Mata registered a further 8 in league games last year and Ozil 10. Ridiculous figures overall. Both will almost certainly get to play just off the striker(s) and should add to their cracking tallies once again.

Top 4 (in order): Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United.

Relegated: Hull (providing they qualify for the Europa League proper), West Brom and Burnley.

I look forward to reviewing these at the end of the season and being completely wrong on most. :pac:

    GK:
De Gea, would be Cech/Courtois but he'll play 38 games and he's quite good.

    DEF:
Terry, I don't think he'll be rotated in the league as much as others and he is a FF machine.

    MID:
Sanchez, he will be OOP and should pretty much be playing striker after the first 5 or 6 games when Walcott is back in the side. Hazard will run him close though.

    FWD:
Rooney, looks fit and with a lot to prove in a team with a lot to prove.

    TOP 4(In Order):
Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd.

    Relegated:
    West Brom, Burnley, Leicester.

Just a bit of a summary of the above information. It's important to keep in mind that the information relates to the entire season, and shouldn't be the focus of your beginning of season squad. This is my opinion only.

Courtois; Mourinho is the king of clean sheets.
Banies; no risk of rotation like Chelsea defenders have and on set pieces.
    Sanchez; is basically a forward.
Rooney; no Europe means no injuries/fatigue/rotation that the other top forwards will pick up.
Mata for assists for the same reason as above.

Chelsea finished 4 points behind City. I think their transfer business this summer (and let's not forget, a full season of Matic) is worth >4 pts. Chelsea by a point. And as their squads stand at the minute, Arsenal in 3rd and United 4th.

Leicester, Burnley and West Brom to go down.
