Android via USB

    Anyone know any good apps for android to play through usb car radio. Works perfect with iphone but not Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I can use a 3.5mm jack but would prefer to use usb

    That's a storage mode issue/configuration with the phone. The radio does not see it as mass storage. It may be twicked on the phone so it could be seen properly by the radio but I never bothered with this, so I can't tell you if it is possible. Try google.
    Why not streaming music directly if your head unit has BT. I do this on mine, flac files, higher quality than mp3 and it works just fine, no lag.

    Yes I was hoping someone here could suggest a tweak app :pac:
    Not a major issue for me, just wat to do it if I can.
    Head unit doesn't support bt audio. Just calls.

    I think that's a car issue...

    My Head unit will play music from USB storage, and iPhone, but wont recognise the Android as USB storage, no matter what setting i have it on.

    BT audio is crap quality also..

    I assume the iphone is a 4 or 4s, the dock connector of he iphone contains audio line out which a USB does not. There is no way other that using the headphone socket.
