Starting in SAP

Hi I am moving to Galway soon and I will be working in SAP. I don't currently drive. Can anyone recommend where would be a good place to live. Somewhere with good transport links and access to shops bars and restaurants ect. I am a 28 year old male.

Hi try around Renmore, Ballybane and Ballybrit all close to Parkmore where SAP is and to town.

Ballybrit and parts of Ballybane and are served by the 403 bus (http://www.galwaytransport.info/2012/02/bus-service-403-castlepark-on-to.html), which runs only every 30 minutes, and has a higher proportion of "interesting" characters on it.

I'd suggest places on the 409 route: Doughiska, Roscam, Renmore, New Mervue, College Rd - or even the city centre. (There's a lot to be said for living in town and travelling out to work - unless you're on 7am starts.)
