VRT calculator? Car not listed

    I have been having difficulty calculating the VRT payable on a 2011 ford mondeo zetec 2.0.

    The model type and bhp do not seem to be listed.
    I want to know the cost before I go buying in the UK
    Any help appreciated.

    Mondeo 2.0 Zetec isn't a rare car so chances are it's in there somewhere. What are the exact details?

    The VRT works on exact models, so for example if it is a Yaris 1.2 two door and a Yaris 1.2 four door, they may only have the two door on their system as thats what has been brought into Ireland before, they would ask you to present your car at the NCTS center and then will tell you to go home and in a few days you will receive a phone call with the valuation, If your car is not on the calculator then this is the usual process, the guy at the center said more than half the people who bring in cars are told to go home and wait for a phone call.

    You are selecting the wrong drop down box OP. You need to select - MONDEO, then MANUAL, then 5 door, then DIESEL, then HATCHBACK, then engine capacity of 1997, then 2.0 TDCI ZETEC 140BHP 5DR.

    VRT comes in at just under €2750 for me. Co2 of 154g.

    Then try one of the other models in the same drop down box as emissions were revised on the Mondeo in 2011. Ultimately they will go by what is on the car's V5 document so it should be lower than the 154g calculation. Remember the VRT price fluctuates regularly so don't be expecting the calculator price to be written in stone.
