Hi All hopefully not a stupid question

I use the Aerlingus direct flight to Orlando every year and noticed something yesterday when booking for 2015.
    Sat 9th august EI-121 is dub14:00 Orlando 18:10
But for 27th July 2015 is dub 13:40 Orlando 19:15
And it's not only the Orlando flight that has longer block times
    Today's EI-105 dub 10:50 JFK 13:20
But any dates from May onwards is dub 10:50 JFK 14:25
    Anyone knows why the difference
    Hopefully not a stupid question
    Many thanks

It's busier during the summer so might take longer to get airborne and I guess they include weather avoidance over the USA. Just more fat so people think the flights on time.

It's ALL about on-time performance for the airlines.

Sounds more like they've not put the effect of daylight savings time into the system for 2015!

There is no way that the flights would take more than an hour longer.

    Thanks for the replies
I have travelled in the summer times and never had them padded that much time wise. As for the daylight saving I thought that alright but it's for most of the longhaul flights it's an extra hour.
    Many thanks anyway

There is an overlap of maybe a week or two (??) where clocks change in Ireland and then later in the US (or other way around) - could it be that? I know it causes a lot of headaches for meetings with US clients in work.

That happens in April if memeroy is right and our flight is in July.
    Thanks

They've the wrong US times all summer - not the overlap periods.
