    Hi all,

    I have cobbled the build below from a few different forums/threads I have read and would love to hear any opinions/concerns about it.

    I am looking to build this mainly for gaming on ultra settings with no lag and will be using with a HDTV. I specifically wanted the i5 4670k (not in stock on hardwareversand so went with 4690k instead) and the r9 280x.

    I have the budget to splash out on a better MOBO. I seen this on a similar build but am not sure if it is needed;

    ASUS Maximus VI Impact, Sockel 1150, ITX, DDR3 - €199.49

    Any advice on PSU, cooling, case etc. much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    PS. Have not run through geizhals.de yet!

    Mobo pretty sure I seen MSI gaming ones for around 100.

    Get a be quiet 600w PSU.

    Don't get the Asus model r9 280. Usually Asus can be counted on but was posted here about them having artifact problems. Personally I'd get a gtx 770 around same price 269-270.

    ANTEC ONE case superior to 200r in every way.

    Thanks for the feedback. Will have a look at the PSU and at the case. Why do you recommend the be quiet PSU over the one I have selected?

    I had my heart set on a gtx770 originally but the R9 280x seems to beat it in most reviews and has 3gb Ram v 2gb in the 270 and is about €30 cheaper. Is this one better than the Asus;

    Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Dual-X OC, 870MHz, 3GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, lite retail - €244.39.

    Thanks.
