    So the Alibaba IPO is coming in september and was thinking of buying a small amount of stock but where exactly do i buy from on the day? what website do i go to?

    First of all you wont be able to secure any of the initial offering since the funds, investment banks clients will have first pick on these and they will hold unto them especially in the first few days where large IPOs tend to gain a large % before they are sold into the secondary market (the market in which a general member of the public can buy from). My advice would be to wait until the shares correct in value (if you feel that Alibaba has the potential to increase in value over time) and then just purchase them through a broker. You can use an Irish established broker or just simply sign up for one online and buy through them.
