If you spend 50 euro in Tesco you get a voucher for 5c off every litre of petrol you buy in participating stations.Buy 100 and you get 10c off.
Up until recently I wasn't aware that quite a few non Tesco filling stations were accepting these tokens.
There's a good few around the country

    Top Oil,
    Staplestown Road, Carlow

    Great Gas,
    Turners Cross, Cork

    Sweeney's Top Oil,
    Ramelton Road, Letterkenny, Co Donegal

    Scanlans Texaco,
    Dublin Street, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin

    Sweeney Oil,
    Moycullen, Galway

    Sweeney Oil,
    Claregalway Road, Oranmore, Co. Galway

    Sweeney Oil,
    Headford Road, Galway

    Joe O'Connor's Esso,
    Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry

    Topaz,
    Sallins Road, Naas, Co. Kildare

    Kennedy's Topaz,
    Dublin Road, Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim

    Mullen's Esso,
    Bundoran Road, Sligo

    Campus,
    Wicklow town, Co. Wicklow

    Mulrooney's Texaco,
    Dublin Road, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary

    Mulrooney's Texaco,
    Brooklands, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary

    Doyles Topaz,
    Carnew road, Gorey, Co. Wexford

Please do not bother replying with how you don't go to Tesco because a rip off or how you grow your own spuds etc to avoid going.
This is a deal for people who chose to use Tesco.

This is not that great of a deal to be honest. For all the hype I seem to hear about it.

I was talking to a lad who works in Topaz about it. He showed me the receipts. Nearly all of them had a refund of around 2 quid or less jotted onto the top of the paper.

For a hundred euro shop, I would expect a better deal. Sure I can save that buying a few packs of baby wipes.

Hardly worth going out of your way for unless you have a truck with a massive empty tank.

I use Tesco by the way. And get good deals after homework is done

The money saved depends on size of your car fuel tank. I have a 65L tank. So 10c off means saving of 6.5 euros for a full tank or 3.25 euros with 5c off.

People filling at that station must be filling 20-30L. Thats a waste of good voucher.

Thanks to original poster for listing non-Tesco pumps.

fill the car and every fuel container you have to get the 100L limit.

    that way you'll save €10

other than that , its not worth my while

Could be wrong but I don't know of anyone that spends 100€ to fill their tank on a regular basis, I'd say the average "saving" from the use of this voucher is abour €1.25 (that's using a 5c off and buying 25 litres or €39.50 worth of petrol) if I put 65l in the car how much am I wasting by hauling that amount of juice around ??

Saved about 6.50 for driving about 500m out of my way at the weekend to use the voucher and also the diesel was 2c per litre cheaper than where I normally fill up, so all in all, €7.80 saved.

Better in my pocket than the garage's!

    It's under "other participating stations".

I only filled up 20L and got few cents off. They are trying to make people spend more than they would normaly, but I would spend it anwyay, voucher or no voucher, so it is better than nothing. I didn't know that you can use those in non-tesco petrol stations. Thanks for that

Tesco filling station in Dundrum shopping centre last night was 4 cent per litre dearer than my local petrol station in Harolds Cross.

So a 5c "saving" should be measured against your cheapest station.

Plus one must compare quality of diesel and price per litre.

Precisely. I'd choose Topaz petrol over Tesco any day

Hmmmm.... Few times I have been in Dundrum and seen a Topaz tanker supplying Tesco.

Much prefer Maxol as I seem to get better mpg when I fill up there. However filled up in Topaz Naas earlier in the week and used the Tesco Coupon to get 10c off every litre, saving just under €5.

I'm reluctant to use Sweeney Oil around Galway - are they ok?

tesco petrol is supplied by topaz or people think that Tesco has own
oil refinery hidden somewhere in mountains supplying tesco own brand fuel?

Do a search on here for fuel problems, or petrol problems. You'll see people saying one of the two is the best and...

Tesco can be supplied by others too and people seemed to have gad issues in the past. Also remember the additives are different if added at all than fuel supplied to actual topaz garages. Much prefer topaz, esso or maxol for mpg.
