Laser necessary for cover up?

    Hi T & P,

Just wondering if laser is needed in advance of a cover up job? It's thick black writing. Would it ever be possible to do a cover up without laser?

    Thanks in advance :)

Depends entirely on factors like how vivid the tattoo still is, what you want to cover it up with etc...

It's always going to be possible to cover something up with something else but the quality will suffer, if you have something small and want to cover it with something big then you'll get away with a lot of the time I think.

Best thing to do would be go into a studio with an idea of what you want to cover it with and get the artists opinion!
