I have a new Acer laptop, all ok until this week, it won't load webpages for some reason.

The router is fine, all lights fine, DSL ok, wifi connection ok,

The router is connected to notebook and smartphone ok.

    Browser works fine on smartphone..

But browsers (both Chrome and IE) won’t work on laptop……….

I put in a URL, e.g. www.rte.ie and the circle spins, and it says “Connecting……..”, but after a min maybe, you get a "ERR..Timeout " message.

I went into DOS and pinged a website………all ok there.

So connectivity seems fine, but browser won’t load pages………..??

With one strange exception – it will load my work Outlook e-mail fine, and I can login fine.

    Can anybody help?? Thanks.
