I use getcover.ie. I pay only 12 euro for additional cover for long term illness (type1 diabetic)

They link to the website below which is probably why they came up on Google, www.justcover.ie do not cover existing medical conditions.

I tried all insurance companies a few years back and they refused to cover my partner cos he's diabetic.

Only Aviva would cover him. Insurance to Europe for the two of us was €29.99. It's great 'cos my car insurance is with them and I get a 5% discount on my car insurance when I'm renewing.

I'm actually buying travel insurance tomorrow so if you want to PM me the medical condition you're referring to, I can certainly ask for you, if you like.

I know VHI definitely does because it's the only one my sister, who has has a long history with kidney problems, can use. She actually had to avail of it while in Las Vegas a few years ago when she had kidney stones and was admitted to hospital.
