    3rd Ranking Event of 2014

    Earn and build up ranking up for the National Sanshou Championships.


    After this event the top ranked fighters will be invited to the Quarter & Semi Finals on the 19th of October and be in with the chance to take a National Sanshou title on the 15th of November at our finals. Our champions will make up our international squad who this year represented Ireland at the European Championships taking home a Bronze medal at our 1st international event.

    ICBA Wushu Sports are 'the' recognized body for Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts!) in Ireland and run the only official and internationally recognized Sanshou events in this country.

    DETAILS OF THE EVENTS

    7th of September

    The Donnycarney Community & Youth Centre, Collins Ave East, Donnycarney, D5

    Seniors options
    SANSHOU, QINGDA OR TUI SHOU

    Junior games options
    TUI SHU (Wrestling), CHANG SHU (Long Kickboxing), QINGDA (Light contact Sanshou)


    Weekend Time line

    Weigh ins are on the day of the event.
    Juniors
    9.AM - sign in and weigh ins.
    9.30 AM - weigh in closes. No exceptions will be made!!
    10 AM - FIRST JUNIOR MATCHES

    Seniors
    11.00 AM - sign in and weigh ins.
    11.30 AM – weigh in closes. No exceptions will be made!!
    12.00 AM - FIRST SENIOR MATCHES

    Preliminary rounds of Tui Shou, Sanshou and Qingda will all run at the same time on separate matted areas.

    PRE REGISTRATIONS ARE TO BE IN BY 4PM FRIDAY 5TH OF SEPTEMBER.

    How to get to Donnycarney Youth and Community Centre:

    BY BUS www.dublinbus.ie From the City Centre – Malahide Road: 43, 20B, 42, 42A, 27, 27B Get off at the Lady of Consolation Church, Donnycarney

    By Bus from Raheny – Howth Road: 29A, 31, 31B, 32A and 32B Get off at the Killester Village, Howth Road. Walk right on to Collins Avenue East towards Malahide Road.

    BY DART www.irishrail.ie Routes by DART to Bray / Greystones DART to Malahide / Howth Get off at the Killester station. Follow Killester Avenue to Collins Avenue East, then towards Malahide Road.

    BY ROAD: The Centre is conveniently located between Malahide and Howth Roads in Donnycarney, Dublin 5. The neighbouring landmarks are the Lady of Consolation Church at the Malahide Road / Collins Avenue traffic lights and Parnell park GAA grounds on Clancarthy Road. On Arrival: Limited car and disabled parking are available on site. Public road parking may be available on Collins Avenue East, Clancarthy Road and off the Malahide Road
