    Hi,

I'm looking for an accredited course in HTML, CSS, Web Design and internet publishing... Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Previous thread. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=81664504

However you might think about doing online tutorials and the like instead for a few reasons:

Many of the classroom courses which have accreditation are too vendor-specific, out-of-date with practices which are now less than desirable and miss modern trends, expensive with poor value and don't transfer well into the workplace.

When looking at CVs, I would generally look for people who are able to largely self-teach from up to date and authoritative sources and a good portfolio would easily trump any accreditation. Accreditation would rarely be viewed as a positive, often being the opposite, but hey that's just my opinion.

Thank you very much for the reply - that thread was very informative!

Would anyone know of any courses in Cork?
