What happens if I fail a deferred exam?

Hi just wondering can anyone help me with my query. I'm in final year Arts and had a module deferred due to illness. I sat the repeat and I think I may have failed it and not got enough to pass by compensation. The exam just really caught me out and after passing all other 11 modules would it mean I have to repeat the year? Seeing as I had deferred this exam would I get to do a supplementary exam seeing as I didn't get the same chance as other students to have 2 goes at it?

I heard someone say also that you cannot just repeat Final year by itself? So I'm hoping I can sit a supplementary exam as I was at a disadvantage in the first place due to illness.

Would be grateful if anyone can help.

Why would you get a supplementary exam? I've never heard of that before. You weren't at a disadvantage compared to other students, you actually had more time than any of them to study for it.

If you knew the reasons for my deferral you would know that I was at a clear disadvantage at the time and all year really but I'm not putting that up here. Don't just assume things!

However hopefully I just pass it, might be the stress/pressure of it all making me more pessimistic.

Okay.. but you are saying you are at a disadvantage to others because you don't get two goes at it, and I'm saying you're not. I'm not assuming anything about you or your illness.
Anyway I've never heard of supplementary exams. E mail your lecturer maybe.

you posted this in the Galway city thread on the 9 April just before first exams,,

"""I just wanted to know if anyone could point me in the right direction as regards getting a house cleaned that is fairly manky? Manky in the sense that beer bottles and food have been left lying around for a bit and dirty floors etc. I know there are cleaners who advertise at 10e an hour but you could hardly expect them to clean a house in a pretty mank state?

We would clean it ourselves but exams on now and giving keys back very soon!"""

ill from da booze id say haha...

There are no extra sittings, with pretty much no exceptions. You repeat the year, that's it!
