    Hi all
I have a couple of issues with my House security alarm system.

I'm now getting a message saying - "Panel Battery Fault - Call Engineer, Service Due - Call Engineer"

    Just wondering
    * how to change this battery
    * what type of battery to use,
    * where to get it etc
    * is there a special security head screwdriver & where would I get one - I've tried local hardware stores.

Also can anyone advise me - how to change my "Notify Numbers " as a few numbers have been changed since set-up.

Any help you can give me is appreciated.
    Thank you

The back up battery off the Quantum can be picked up in any of the suppliers http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055956748.
You need to down power the system, remove two clips inside the door on the keypad and then remove the screws. Two Philip head screws.
Phone numbers are set up in the comms menu of the system.

2 years for the back up battery would be low, I would expect 5 years plus.
    Was the system self installed?

No - put in by a professional company

    Also
I've opened the panel and it looks like there's 6.. maybe 8 AA batteries inside a small unit.

    Tks

Yes, it is a battery pack, 9.6V. If its only in two years I would contact the installer as there may be an issue with the battery from the start.

Sorry - But I mixed up the Panel with the "Keypad" unit.
I didn't realise there was a Panel Box somewhere - probably in my attic maybe.
I was not aware that the "Panel box" has a different battery - which is the problem now, not the Keypad control.

    Thanks
