O2 money card or 3v card which is better?

Hi all just wondering which would be best for buying stuff online, and also which card would be the cheaper one o2 money card or 3v card when it comes to fees and all that?

I had a 3v card & it was a pain in the hole.I use an 02 Money card now,never had a hassle and topping up is a piece of cake.

O2 All the way (didn't realize 3v was still going) Just a tip for you, top up in an O2 shop its cheaper. They all have an touchscreen atm things to load it up.

Both are rather redundant with most bank cards now been visa debit cards aswell.

3v is the one I use. You don't need your card anymore and you can buy a voucher almost anywhere. You just ask for a 3v voucher and then go on line to get the details.

Ugh. When I last used 3v, you only had the voucher. You couldn't top up the voucher, and had to buy a new voucher. So you end up with a couple of vouchers with only €3 on them, or smaller amount, that you couldn't merge together. Not sure if this has changed or not since I used them.

Check out skrill money card. Its a MasterCard prepaid credit card. I use one and its great.

Using an O2 money card, the cost of topping up by €20 there is an extra €1 charge. This all adds up if use it a lot.

There isn't this charge with the skrill money card. You can top up by bank transfer (this is free-but it takes 3-5 days to show up in your skrill account).

Or you you can upload using your own bank debit card. This is an instant upload and there is a 1.9 % fee on whatever you upload. If you upload by €20, that's a 38cent fee. You're already saving 62cent compared to the o2 money card.

There is a €10 charge per year on the skrill card but I still think that can work out cheaper than the O2 money card. There's so much charges on that o2 card, from topping up and even stamp duty of 2.50 a year on it. There's no stamp duty on the skrill card.

The only thing I had to do to get the card was set up an account, upload documents like ID and proof of address and pay the €10 card fee. The card came in the post.

I really do find it great, have been using it a few years now.
