I was just wondering, imagine for example I lived in 33 main street, and on my door it had the numbers "33" what would happen if I took the numbers off the door and replaced them with "34" would I get my neighbours post? Is there any laws about this?

This is definitely not what I expected.

    The postman would know anyway.

Some of them get upset about using that term round these parts.

Best change that to Main Street OP to be on the safe side. ;)

I think the postman would notice the sequence being changed to 32-34-34

The postman might always ring twice, but he can only deliver the letters once.
