Removing dead moss from tarmac

Have killed off moss with a moss killer. However, it's still in the tarmac like this here =>

How can I get it out completely? Have tried power washing - and other than the fact that it doesn't lift it off, I dont want to force the issue anyway - as I'll just damage the tarmac surface.

Most if not all of it should just disappear naturally over time once its dead but if you wanted speed up the process then a good brushing should work. But just like power hosing be careful not to use a brush with a very sharp bristle.

Thanks Muffler. I guess it seems to be disintegrating - just taking a long time. I let it go for longer than normal - so I suppose it wouldn't look so unsightly if I had got to it a few months ago.
