Weightlifting Belt

Any suggestions on what type of belt to get and where?

I've emailed pullum sports a few times to get an eleiko one as they are out of stock in my size, it's been a month and they still haven't got any in stock so it's probably time I look elsewhere.

Any suggestions? Mostly needed for squats but will need to start using it for clean and jerk soon too

....and if at all possible it needs to look semi purty:D

Won't you need two belts? I can't imagine weightlifting in a powerlifting belt is overly comfortable.

Top sets are rarely overly comfortable

I use a cheap velcro one I got off Amazon, it's grand for cleans and squats, though I do use a different leather belt for heavy squats.

I got a Harbinger velcro belt from bodybuilding.com, think it was about 20 quid delivered and it has endured a couple of years of extreme mediocrity. Not particularly pretty but it does belt things.

Eventually they will when the velcro gets wear and tear. Mate had one that popped open in the hole of a 130kg squat. But that had had a lot of use.

Once you make sure the velcro is stuck well it shouldn't pop open. As Alf said it will eventually wear out, you should still get a good few years use out of it then you could get the velcro replaced when it does wear out.

Ya, I've a funny feeling that hers is a powerlifting belt...so it might be a bit too rigid for what I'm looking for but I'll have a look. Thanks!

Yaaa...Sarah stole hers from James when he got too fat for it

And Steve told me to go to Pullum Sports, but they emailed a month ago to say that they were waiting on a shipment...and still nothing
