An insurance company has refused to pay out on some badly done building work. Does Anyone know a good Dublin based solicitor that could help here please?

Financial Ombudman is who you want. No charge to you either and their findings are final.

+1 A solicitor might be needed down the line but unless you've gone to the onbudman a solicitor is premature. They will most likely just tell you to go to the onbudsman.

insurance companies dont generally cover bad workmanship, they only cover consequential loss so it does depend on the actual detail. solicitor or ombudsman wont be able to help you against insurance company if there is no cover
