Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Earth Sciences / Geology - CAO Help

    Hi all,

I'm going into 6th year in September and I'm already thinking about the order of courses that I want to put down on my CAO.

I want to study geology or earth sciences, but I'm unsure of the differences in the courses in TCD and UCD and career prospects after graduation?
From what I have picked up, both courses in TCD (TR071 and TR077) are a BA. Will this make any difference in finding a decent job post-grad or would I be better studying in UCD (DN200) which is a BSc?

I would love to specialise in meteorology / geomorphic hazards later in life.

Has anyone here done any of these courses, as I'm utterly lost and confused on the matter.

I'm studying Physics, Biology, Geography, Maths, English, Irish and Spanish (All Higher Level).
