I'm trying to get a provisional license but I need proof of address and PPS, unfortunately I use my mothers surname on my medical card(which isn't my official surname), I can't get any letters or anything from Revenue because I haven't had a job yet. Anyone know any other ways to get proof of address and PPS?

Have you got an EHIC? You get them from your local health office and they are proof of PPS. Also do you have a bank account for proof of address?

Yeah I tried applying for the EHIC but it said my PPSN was already used for registration. I don't have a bank account, I never really needed one.

You can ring Revenue and ask them to send you something with your PPS on it. You should really open a bank account too, you will need it in the long run and it will come in handy for loads of things.

Contact the Dept of Social Protection and get them to send you out a letter verifying your PPS number. The NDLS centres accept that letter as proof of your PPS.

Open a bank account, deposit 20 quid in it and get the bank to send you out a bank statement with your address on it. You may not have needed a bank account up to now, but you are going to need one sooner or later.

Turns out I had an EHIC card already so I got them to send me a new one out so it should work for both proof of address with the letter and PPS with the card. Thanks for all the help! :)
