Hi, i was wondering if its possible for a charged battery to be discharged into an empty battery. if anyone could possibly shed some light on the subject about how to do it it would be much appreciated.

What sort of batteries are you handling?
Are they car batteries or just small ones
    Rechargeable or non rechargeable

Small phone batteries, yes they are rechargeable.

With any battery you can connect the positive of one to the positive of another, and the negative of one to the negative of the other.
The current will eventually equalise in both of them.
If you are looking for a charging unit for solar or wind up then they are available.

If you do so directly there is a possibility of damaging the batteries.

You should use some resistance between the batteries to prevent high current.
