Electric Iron curling cable.

    Hi guys.
    I've always wondered why cables on electric irons eventualy start curling ?

    You'd think by now the cable quality/size, would be up to the task in hand.

    Same happens with vacuums etc., it's down to how it's being wound up.

    Winding the cable round the iron when putting it away, then grabbing the plug and pulling it out straight next time it's used, without allowing the cable to unwind. That x100 will kink any cable up.....
