Aviva ... Modified car insurance

Asked aviva if I was to modify my car would they take me on, they said no as they don't take new costumers on with modded cars so I decided to keep it standard for the time being and modify it once they'll accept me with modifications . they will add mods to the policy if you have been with them for some time. Anyone know…

Anyone know how long you have to be with them before they will allow you to declare some light mods to your policy with them based from your experience. . I am a costumer with aviva now on the car.
