Disc breaks to tight

    Hi all,

    Some how I managed to tighten the disc breaks on my bike while installing new a new set of mudguards, is there a way to lossen them have only dealt with v breaks before.

    Are your brakes hydraulic or mechanical?

    For hydros, just get a clean tyre lever and pry the pads apart. Re-centre the calliper afterwards.

    They are mechanical as fair as I know I can't really understand that video, I tried loosing the cable but no joy it is like one side of the breaks is stuck and won't budge.

    Yes, thats the front break both brakes are sticking, well tried losing front brake I can either get it to tight or to loose not where were it runs freely.

    Is that bar not impeding on the caliper i.e pushing it into the disc?
