    Hi guys

I am looking to get a steam cleaner to do kitchen floor tiles and windows (inside and outside) and patio doors, but I have never had one so am not sure what to look out for - any features or brands that would be worth checking out?

    Thanks a lot!

I bought mine in lidl - it does the job. I couldn't live without mine for cleaning the floors.

Bought a shark floor steam mop in currys while back. Find it great on the floor tiles and laminate. Doesn't leave the floor soaking, its easy on the back compared to a mop. Floor pad is thrown into the washing machine after use.

Cant offer any advice on one for windows or patio doors.

I have the Karcher brand. It's good but not great. Does anyone know of a steam cleaner that uses proper cleaner? I find that the steamer doesn't clean the floor like I want it to.

Be careful on laminate with steam, it could end up warping it. I think some steam mops are designed with it in mind, but not all.
