Hi, I am currently on placement from June - December which is part of my 3rd year degree, I received news that means I cannot return to college from January onwards which would be my final semester.
I am on BTEA at the moment and this is still being paid while I am on placement.
I want to finish college now and leave with my Higher Certificate since I know I won't be able to finish my final semester. ( I will return eventually to finish my final year)
What will this mean for my BTEA will they just cut me off and not give me JSA? I plan on looking for work in the meantime but don't want to be totally stuck either.
