Illness Benefit not gone into bank a/c

Hi,

Had a illness benefit claim that was taking a bit of time to process. Emailed the DSP and they told me that the payment 'issued to your bank on the 30/07/14'. However it hasn't appeared as of yet Saturday the 2/08/14. Anyone know if this is normal or what could be causing a delay? Can't call the TSB Open24 as I don't have money to put credit in my phone so kind of stuck. Any advice would be great.

Its more likely to be your bank then DSP. Are you sure your checking the right bank account?

I also didn't get mine. It might be the Bank Holiday messing it up? I'm with AIB.

There was some banking glitch with transfer of some payments into some people's bank accounts last week in aib. Maybe this is why u don't have it.

There was a major problem with BOI on Thursday. Maybe it might be Tuesday before they appear in your bank accounts.

When was yours supposed to go into the bank? What a pain being stuck with zero money.

This will be y first payment I've realised that I didn't put an IBAN or BIC number on the form but I am 99% sure they weren't mentioned on the MC1 form just account num and sort code

Friday! Yeah BOI messed up big time with the payments, plus there's often issues around this time with SW. I wouldn't stress just yet, wait til Tuesday .

Do you think so? I hope your right man, they told me that it was presented to my bank on Wednesday 30/07 so I would have expected it Friday. Do you always get it Friday?

- I got a reply from my bank PTSB today "Please be advised that any payments which permanent tsb received before 2.30am on Saturday morning have now been credited to our customers’ accounts. Any payments we receive after this will be credited on Monday morning at 8.30am."... sounds like they are buying time to me and the two banks between them have really ****ed up

Definitely! But it can't just be the two of us so, that's kinda better isn't it? So Monday we'll check, if not, then Tuesday! Grand.

Same here .. I handed in cert 10.30am thursday morning usually in bank on Saturday morning.. The last time this happened was on a Bank Holiday weekend & didn't receive payment till Wednesday. PTSB

I know dude but PTSB were apparently running another batch of payments this morning tat they received after Friday night. It's weird the payments must not have been sent by BOI
