Many of us have switched over to internet radio, most popular is the Tunein Radio app. It has opened our options from the limited number of local stations to thousands of stations worldwide.

At the same time a person can only listen to one station at a time. I am interested in peoples advice regarding radio stations that they listen to.

The stations / programmes that I mostly listen to are

    1. RTE Radio 1, I really like Weekend On One and John Creedon Show.

    2. Boomer Radio http://www.boomerradio.com/. Great selection of oldies and easy listening. Great balance between lesser known album tracks and well known songs.

    3. Dublin City FM After midnight http://dublincityfm.ie/after-midnight. Noel casey playing a great eclectic mix of blues, folk etc.

    4. Springsteen Radio. When I need a Bruce fix.

    5. BBC Radio 2. Johnnie Walkers Sound of The Seventies http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jlwqd. I regularly record this programme.

    6. RTE Gold. John Clarkes Ireland's Biggest Jukebox. Always was and is a favorite on a Sunday.

    7. Jazz FM. Along with Boomer Radio for night time listening.

    BBC Radio 6 is great.
I'd be interested in recommendations from other parts of the world. Like the U.S.

For sports shows, TalkSport is probably the best that you'll get. Alan Brazil in the morning and Colin Murray until lunch are very good.

For Irish folk music (or Irish music in general) there's Irish Pub Radio and Irish Channel 1, plays song after song and has no talking except when it has self promotion adverts

I love the Sports Bar with Goldstein and Cundy each night 10-1. It can be very funny at times.
