nuig first year science repeats fail..?

I'm doing science in nuig but I'm repeating maths next week cause I failed it first time around. I'm really not confident that I'll even pass next week. Can anyone tell me what happens then? Can I still go into second year but have to do first year maths along side second year modules or do I have to spend a year just…

You wont be able to go into second year and do maths with your second year modules
You will if continuing in the course have to repeat maths for the year
