Hi hope there is someone out there that can give advice
Received a final demand from revenue today for paye due for 2011 for my limited company .
The company dissolved in 2o12 and I ceased trading as a ltd company in dec 2011.
I have never received any letters from revenue about this until today and it gives me 7 days to pay up or they send the sheriff or take me to court.
This is the first time I've ever been notified about it and the company has closed.
I am now a sole trader.
Am I still liable personally for debts of a company which has been dissolved.
    I'm worried sick :-(

Liquidated and dissolved? Or struck off?

Something unusual there.... what are the circumstances?

My accountant handled it but on CRO site it says dissolved. It definitely wasn't liquidated as I ceased trading and there was no creditors etc.
Revenue letter says p35 wasn't submitted but I've heard nothing from them in 2 years , absolutely no correspondence and my accountant is away so I've no access to the online returns he made

Revenue would be a creditor... I don't want to set you wrong given the issue, call them and say that your accountant is unavailable, and to afford you the opportunity to allow him to look at it. They'll run with it. 100%.

The letter is only standard, they have to send it to keep their guys happy, they mightn't even want the P35. But it's important you get the accountant to have the conversation. And tell him go f#ck himself if he's thinking of charging again. I know we wouldn't for legacy work like that unless there's a separate job needed.

Thanks so much for the advice
I've been so worried all day as the letter threatens me with court and or the sheriff arriving to my house to remove goods to the value or an attachment for funds.
So this letter is only standard ?

If the company is dissolved now , how do revenue expect to be paid ?
Do they come after me personally ?
