It's not 'copied', or even brewed under licence. It's the same stuff you get in Laos, brewed in the same brewery.

No they were not. All Beer Lao here is imported (from Laos - where it's brewed) by C&R Drinklink. All Beer Lao in the UK is imported (again, from Laos) by LWC Drinks - who have exclusive import rights. No-one in the UK has any rights to brew Beer Lao. It's the same exact stuff you get in Asia. It doesn't taste the same because you're not on your holidays.

Maybe not, but for the sake of accuracy, it's the same 'best beer in the world' you drank abroad.

BeerLao do a dark lager too, which I've never seen for sale here, but would like to try.

Ah here. I bought a few bottles in Dunnes in Tallaght at start of June.

Very nice alright, not the best Beer I ever had though. But then again I'm more of an ale man anyway.

Personal favourite (and I recommend to anyone) is Coopers sparkling ale. Sold in OBriens. 5.8%, an Australian beer fermented in the bottle.

Another great beer I'd recommend is Jupiler. (actually if anyone knows where it can be bought in Ireland let me know.)

Yeah just checked, it's a bit vague, if it's brewed in Poland why not just say that?

Offie in Ringsend was selling short dated 330ml bottles of this for €1 recently .... bought some, drank them, didn't think much of them to be honest.
