Penpals for my 5th class age 10-11 with schools abroad

    I would love to organise penpals with the kids in my class who are in 5th class, age 10-11 years old.

    I would love to organise with kids in another European Country - Would anyone know where I could go to organise this.

    I would do all the organising and posting. I want the kids to write letters rather than e-mailing and get writing about hobbies, school life, cultures, holidays, languages etc.

    Just finding it hard to get started on where to locate schools in order to get started on planning.

    You could look at www.epals.com. I have heard good things about it.

    It seems that a lot of people team up for e-mail exchange or collaborate on projects. But if you search, you can find people who are open to letters too. For example, this teacher in American is happy to communicate by 'snail mail' as she calls it :)
