shed roof replacement

    I need to replace the roof on my wooden garden shed.what wood sheeting would anyone recommend that I use thanks

    You could clad or use sheet iron.

    Assuming you are putting felt or shingles on top as the water proof layer.
    I would generally only use T&G or OSB if well supported

    T&G- least affected by a bit of damp or a leak - dearest

    OSB / Sterling board gets damaged by leaks but sags a lot less than chipboard

    waterproof ply resistant to sagging and reasonably durable but hard to bang felt nails into.

    avoid chipboard it will sag even with out damp, add some damp or one leak and it will disintegrate fairly quickly

    2 of these 8' x 4' sheets should do unless the shed is a monster. Then just felt her up :)

    Is the roof an A roof or a mono pitched one?
