If you had to pick a handful of Hitchcock films to see in the cinema......

    There is a large collection of Hitchcock films being shown in The Eye in Amsterdam at the minute (I'm sorry !), while I would like to see them all, I don't think my wallet would :P What would you pick? I've seen Psycho, North by Northwest and The Birds in the cinema before so I'd probably skip those. I'd like to see Rear Window for sure.

    Watched Psycho to death but would still love to see it in a cinema, other than that my favorite Hitch films are Rear Window, Rope and Dial M for Murder.

    Vertigo is the essential one. Then: Notorious, The 39 Steps, Strangers on a Train. Maybe take the opportunity to see The Trouble With Harry on the big screen too.

    As above (Vertigo, Psycho, Rear Window), although I'd like to see North by Northwest on the big screen as well.

    Saw the The Trouble with Harry recently on TV and thought it was brilliant although it wasn't a success when it came out. Bought it on Blu-ray and it was stunning looking. Would love to see this in the cinema as I assume it would be amazing looking plus its got a wicked sense of humour.

    I would say Vertigo but then I'd half to tell you to prepare for sections of the audience laughing at scenes that were not intended to be humorous in any way.

    Rope would be a must see for me. The clever way it's made to look like one continuous shot is brilliant to watch and also John Dall's performance in it is absolutely fantastic.
