Cancel the test or ring the RSA? (quicker test date)

I finally booked my test the other afternoon and chose a date further away than what I hoped for as the earliest available date. I was supposed to be travelling on the earliest date listed, unfortunately that trip is now cancelled which enables me to sit my test at a earlier date. I did not see the option for cancellation…

I finally booked my test the other afternoon and chose a date further away than what I hoped for as the earliest available date. I was supposed to be travelling on the earliest date listed, unfortunately that trip is now cancelled which enables me to sit my test at a earlier date. I did not see the option for cancellation list on my test application so did not click it, would it be better for me to cancel my test and reapply or just keep ringing the RSA to try get a closer test date?

If you want to do it sooner than your currently scheduled date, ring them up and ask for a date from the cancellation list. Don't cancel your current date. If you do, you'll just get bumped further down the list & you will be back to square one. If a cancellation date is available when you ring them up, they'll cancel the original date for you.
