My Daughter is going to be in the same boat come September..

Will she be entitled to anything at all?

    VTOS even?

Scrap that.. I just read she would need to be 21 to get VTOS..

    Hmmmm

If the parents of an 18 year old plc course student are getting welfare icluding Fis, they can countinue to get payment for the 18 yo on their claim.

No, FIS. You can still get FIS. That's 20e upwards. Are you currently working? And is it just the one child?

No.. Not working at present.. So FIS is out of the question.

Got 4 kids... One already in College and 2 other are still in Secondary.

No, but you may be eligible for a grant. However, deadline for new applicants is tomorrow 1 Aug 2014!

You are entitled to a grant same as any college student, the "dole" is paid to those actively seeking employment.

Surely you applied for Susi grant? Your getting one already for the child in college?

    Yes.

The first one in College is already getting it, and has re-applied for September.

Just trying to cover all options.

My Daughter has applied, and is waiting for confirmation.
