Waiting for Planning Permission, What next ?

    Hello,

    I've applied for planning permission for a dormer house, decision is due in two months. Presuming I do get planning permission, what are the things i should be looking at now in order to start getting prepared for the build process ? what are the big decisions that need to made re the build ? I know i might not get planning, and it might be a waste ! but still ...
