Does the "commit to pay"have any legal merit or is it just an encouragement?
Tried to buy the other day but they wouldn't accept my O2 card so bought on Amazon instead. This morning I get bombarded with emails reminding me to pay for the item.
It's a four Euro bicycle part so I doubt they're bothered, but out of curiosity are you in fact committed to the transaction?

You will be charged by eBay , you have now ruined the listing for the seller , which means the seller will now be also charged selling fees .

You need to contact the seller and ask him to cancel the transaction

Any info on how I should proceed with this one .

Bought a phone listed as shipped from Galway, Package delivered by DHL, I noticed that it was shipped from China. I have now recieved a tax bill from dhl for 30 euro. I bought phone on the basis it was an Irish seller and would not have to pay import tax.
Have mailed seller but is listed on ebay as being uncontactable till next week.
