I currently hold a Master Office Specialist on Office 2007 and 2010 plus I have my Train the Trainer cert, which I got last week. How do you get a job teaching ECDL or Advanced ECDL in testing centres/community classes in Ireland. I was told i need, at the least, my Master and Train the Trainer but im having trouble finding my first foothold in this career. The evening courses centres staff and SOLAS staff all have lots of qualifications to their names and tonnes of experience whereas I really am just starting out. The jobs they do advertise always seem to want extra teaching qualifications and years of experience.

I havent offered my services for free just yet, but i would be willing to do that (for a while anyway) if it meant getting experience and a stepping stone to a job.

Any tutors out there care to give some advice on how to break into ECDL/Advanced teaching as a career?
