Problem with door seal of fridge

    I have a Neff K8524X7GB(01) fridge freezer. We have just moved in to the place so dont know how long it has been a problem . Anyway the fridge door does not seal/magnetise. The door of the freezer compartment works perfectly.

    I recently bought a replacement fridge door seal but it hasn't made any difference. Both the new seal and 'old' seal do stick if you place it against the other part of the fridge (without putting the seal in the door, ie keeping the door open).

    Anyone got any ideas how to fix it?

    start off by checking that the fridge sits firmly on the floor, otherwise the cabinet may distort causing the problem, when you replaced the seal the magnet strip in the seal must be on the opposite side to the hinge when fitted . also the spacer/washer on the bottom hinge can wear, fit an extra washer which usually solves the problem. hope this helps.
